This piece is a satire on self-publishing with a very basic one-way navigation system that keeps refreshing the front cover and first inside page of an imaginary book. Pushing the Fractured/Inside diary interface to its very basic limits, The Rut is a fun stab at the self-obsessed side of writing and writers.
