Route is a publisher and cultural organisation that is a home for contemporary story telling and ideas. Based in the north of England Route is a beacon for new talent and an agency of choice that inspires new writing, nurtures and develops writers and is a catalyst for literary activity. Route runs a book publishing programme and this is supported by Route-online, which presents byteback books for download, performance recordings and an online gallery, as well as news, views and features. Route runs an annual subscription programme of books in our contemporary stories series.
